The universal truth is that we all have to grow older and finally kick the bucket one day, but then how does old age affect normal people.
Is the journey of Ageing common for everyone like one size fits all or do we go through the journey as an individual like a Yogi sitting alone in the Himalayas?
Most people have had a past especially the generation from the 60s-70s when the concept of Flower Children and Rock and Roll was in fashion, but then how did that generation age? Was it different from today's generation of rookie seniors or did they have a much more interesting life?
To be honest, I strongly believe that memories are made by adventure, travel and being a bit off the charts because watching television is not going to help talk much about with friends, family and grandchildren in our old age.
Coming back to the main point of debate, most of us have our shades of grey because life in general is never black and white, some peps like me and a few others may have gone overboard and probably lived an extra colorful life, but in general most people have or live a grey coloured life.
Something which intrigues me is, when our children are growing up we act as the Custodians of the Galaxy and give them all the gyan of following the right path, but then we forget our past history of adventures. An even more interesting fact is, once the children are grown up we proudly boast about the amazing adventurous life the parents had in their youth.
Life is like a railway track, there is always a parallel life, one life is for the world to see and one is living in our dark shadows. And for some off-beat peps the train is always passing through the crossroads and they are unable to decide the station where they want to stop the train or rather pull the emergency chain.....
