Scheme DescriptionPension Scheme by the Dept. of Panchayat & Rural Development, Govt. of Assam. The objective of the scheme is to streamline the payment of old-age pensions and funds.
Eligibility
  1. The scheme is meant for the residents of the State of Assam, who are 60 years or above in age.
  2. Not applicable if beneficiary of any of the existing government schemes.
  3. Not applicable if parents of children (where the latter is employed with the government).
  4. Not applicable if taxpayer who earns an income of above ₹ 2,50,000/-

Scheme Details
  1. The beneficiary will be granted a sum of ₹ 250/- per month through DBT.

  1. Aadhaar Card
  2. Proof of Identity
  3. Proof of Age / Date of Birth
  4. Domicile/Residential Certificate of the state of Assam
  5. Details of the Aadhaar Linked Bank Account
Further Information / Process
  1. Visit the Gaon Panchayat/Development Block/ Municipal Corporation/Municipal Board/Town Committee of the respective jurisdiction.
  2. Request for a print of the Application Format for "Swahid Kushal Konwar Sarbajanin Briddha Pension Achoni".
  3. Submit the duly filled and signed application form, along with the required documents, to your nearest Gaon Panchayat/Development Block/ Municipal Corporation/Municipal Board/Town Committee of the respective jurisdiction.
