Scheme DescriptionImplemented by the Social Welfare Department, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. The scheme aims to support senior citizens in meeting their basic needs during old age.
Eligibility
  1. The applicant should be a domicile of the Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
  2. The applicant should be 60 years or older.
  3. The applicant's annual family income should not exceed ₹1,50,000/-.
  4. The applicant should not be receiving financial assistance under any other old age pension scheme.

Scheme Details
  1. Senior citizens aged 60–69 years: Monthly pension of ₹1,500/-.
  2. Senior citizens aged 70 years and above: Monthly pension of ₹2,000/-.
Documents Required
  1. Proof of Age (In case of non-availability of age proof the beneficiary shall be referred to the Medical Board (Government Hospital) of the concerned district for verification of age.)
  2. Income Certificate issued by the Competent Authority
  3. Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority
  4. Copy of Bank Passbook (Aadhaar linked)
  5. Copy of Aadhaar Card
  6. Election Card/Passport/Ration card (anyone)
  7. Passport size photographs (2 copies)
  8. Undertaking/Affidavit (Not getting any pension from any other department)
Further Information / Process
  1. The applicant can collect the application form from the office of the District Panchayat or Municipal Council of the concerned district. Alternatively, the form can be downloaded from the official website.

Pension for the Construction Workers

Scheme DescriptionScheme by the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department, U.T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, is a welfare scheme for the registered workers of the board.
EligibilityA) For Registration as a Building/ Construction Worker: 1. The applicant should be a resident of U.T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. 2. The applicant should be a Building/ Construction Worker. 3. The applicant should be between 18 and 60 years. 4. The applicant should have engaged in any building or other construction work for at least 90 days in a given year. B) For the Application of the Welfare Scheme: 1. The applicant should be a registered member Under the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board of U.T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. 2. The applicant should have at least 10 years of membership with the Board. C) The workers availing benefits under the ESIC and the Employees' Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions (EPF & MP), will not be entitled to receive the benefit.

Further Information / Process
  1. Any registered worker can make an application in the prescribed Form-IX.
  2. Application shall be submitted to the Member Secretary (BOCWWB) for this benefit.
